It’s a beautiful thing when a passion and a career come together…my passion for planning began with my career as a regional training/event manager at a popular restaurant chain.
Knowing I wanted to continue in this industry, I went back to school in 2012 for a degree in Meeting/Event Planning.
I continued to expand my experience with several years in Sales & Catering at Seven Bridges Golf Club, Holiday Inn- Willowbrook, and the DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau.
My corporate career commenced as the Senior Catering + Events Manager for Le Méridien Chicago - Oakbrook Center. It was during that time that I gained the confidence to take my passion to the next level and make Poppy Productions as a full-time endeavor.
As your event planner, I not only want your event to PoP, but also your experience and journey leading up to it. I focus on communication and attention to detail every step of the way.
In my personal time, I love to spend time at our family home in Michigan, cheer on my beloved White Sox, and get my hands dirty in my garden!
